I realize the skinny vs. comfortable denim argument is a big offer now, but I've usually selected being around the comfortable side. They are functional and simpler to dress in, as I am able to pair them with either prolonged or quick tops.  whenever we costume decently, we recognize that God ordained garments to address, and not draw awareness
